Lexington Park native Nathan Lindgren was sentenced to 12 years in prison by a judge in Calvert County for possession and distribution of child porn, according to the state's attorney's office.
On March 9, 2021, the Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that someone was distributing child exploitation material.
Search warrants led to the recovery of Lindgren’s cell phone, which contained multiple images of child porn, and he later admitted to using the device to distribute the illicit imagery.
When he is released, a judge also ordered that Lindgren serve five years of supervised probation, and he will be required to register as a sex offender.
